Tipping Spoon
Tipping spoon is a device that measures rain. The rain cone collects rain and directs it to a spoon on a pivot underneath the cone. The spoon tips, empties, and returns to its original position when a particular amount of water is accumulated in it. The sensor counts the tips and converts the information into rain data.
