What Is A Station ID?

Station ID

Station ID is a switch configuration from the ISS transmitter board. The Station ID, also known as the Transmitter ID, instructs the receiver on which station to listen to. Sensor suites are set to ID 1 at the factory, therefore both the receiver and transmitter must be configured to the same Station ID. WeatherLink Lives and VP2 consoles can receive data from up to eight separate transmitters. (There are also limits to the number of transmitter types for the console.)
